No more dull old fashioned piano lessons! I make learning the piano a fun and exciting adventure. My name is Karen and I am a piano teacher based in Chestnut Walk, Worcester, WR1. Lessons are one-to-one for a minimum of 30 minutes weekly and competitively priced. Lessons take place in my dedicated teaching room, a wonderful space to explore music.
Whatever your age or level I believe it's the ideal time to learn the piano. You can explore your own musical styles and I can adapt your lessons to suit you to develop your love of music. You can explore anything from classical to contemporary music and everything in between. I teach children and adults and currently my youngest pupil is 6 and my oldest is 79!
You can learn how to read music or improve your existing knowledge while developing practical and listening skills, cognitive function, improved memory and all while playing amazing pieces! If you are interested in taking your grade exams I can guide you through these from initial grade to grade 8 and beyond. Alternatively not everyone is exam focused and I can teach you all the skills you need to enjoy piano playing for pleasure.

I am a patient and inspiring teacher and offer lessons in a safe learning space. I graduated from the Birmingham Conservatoire of music with a B MUS (Hons) and also hold a post grade 8 level associate performance diploma of A.M.T.B. I have over 15 years teaching experience and I am passionate about teaching piano. As well as teaching privately I teach piano and keyboard in schools in Worcestershire.
Whether you're a complete beginner or would like to take your playing to the next level, my personalised piano lessons can help you grow musically at your own pace and in your own style. I have a lifelong passion for music and I aim to ignite your curiosity and passion for music by teaching you pieces you will love playing! Let's embark on this musical journey together!
